The Musical Magic of Bill Martin, Jr 

Several of Bill’s great stories have been set to music by Herb Parker, Jr. “Brown Bear,

Brown Bear, What Do You See?,” “Chicka Chicka Boom Boom,” “The Ten Little

Caterpillars,” “Old Devil Wind,” “Listen to the Rain,” “The Happy Hippopotami,” “I am

Freedom’s Child,” “A Beautiful Feast for a Big King Cat,” “The Maestro Plays,” “Here

are my Hands,” and “The Wizard” will be performed. Come and enjoy a musical magical

session.

Singing through the Solar System 

Take a musical, mythological, fact finding journey through our solar system. The sun and

its nine planets and moons will be explored by way of music. Physical facts, statistics,

and mythology will be combined with several different styles of music to create a

workshop that is out of this world!

The Magical Friends of Bill Martin, Jr 

Herb Parker, Jr. has set to music the poetry of some of Bill Martin’s favorite people who

also just happen to be some of the world’s greatest talent!  Books and poetry by Jose

Aruego, Jim Aylesworth, Brod Baggert, Eric Carl, Steven Kellogg, Ted Rand, and

Michael Sampson will be musically presented at this workshop.

The Magnificent Masters of Music 

The lives of seven great classical and romantic composers have been set to the music of

their most famous compositions. Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Liszt, Verdi, and

Brahms will be studied historically and musically through melody and rhyme. 

Focus: 3-12 

Music for the Dinosaur 

This session takes a musical pre-historic look at the lives and characteristics of several of

the great dinosaurs from the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous periods. Join T-Rex and

the gang for a roaring good time!
